The Southeast Review of Asian Studies 2009 had a special section on the Korean Wave and includes conceptualizing the “Korean Wave” and a critical assessment of the “Korean Wave” in Asia and the United States.

There has been a growing relationship between Singapore and South Korea, in areas like media, tourism, and trade. There are also plans for Singapore to develop better relations with North Korea.
